He was predeceased by: his mother Francisca Medina; his grandfather Rosendo Delgado; and his uncle Ponciano Delgado. He is survived by: his children, Marlene Medina and Jose Medina, Jr.; his father Gabino Medina Ceja; his siblings, Ana Medina, Claudia Medina, Daniel Medina and Roberto Medina; and his grandmother Josefa Delgado. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
