He was predeceased by: his parents, John Perry Daugherty and Mayoma M. Upchurch Daugherty; his brothers, Johnny Daugherty and Norman Daugherty; his stepbrothers, Ray Johnson and Raymond Johnson; his sister Levye "Sis" Crim White; his grandchild Tristen Cash Cooper; his nephew Freddy Daugherty; and his son-in-law Ron Hopson.
He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Daugherty of Edgewood, TX; his children, Jesse Daugherty (Jennifer) of Edgewood, TX, Tammy Cooper of Edgewood, TX and Lisa Overton (Ray) of Edgewood, TX; his brother Nolan Daugherty (Ann) of Wills Point, TX; his grandchildren, Chance Cooper, Shelby Hopson, Levi Overton, Jayce Daugherty, Clay Cooper and Jaylee Daugherty; his great grandchild Lawson Lane Nace; and his friends, Phil and Melissa Parks.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hiett's LyBrand Funeral Home (1701 Goodnight Blvd, Wills Point, TX 75169). A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
