He was predeceased by: his son Peter Lopez; his parents, Clifford L. Pearson and Audrey Kruse Shaw; and his brother Virgil Culp. He is survived by: his wife Luisa Cabrera Pearson; his children, Beverly Rosas, Jessica Pearson, Jeremy Pearson and Sonya Alanis; and his siblings, Hazel Wheat and James Wheat. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
