He was predeceased by: his daughter Karla Gil. He is survived by: his wife Maria Del Rosario Gil; his sons, Ruben Gil (Misty), Rafael Gil (Cristina), Jose M. Gil (Sylvia) and Carlos A. Gil; his son-in-law Jesus Garcia; and his siblings, Rafael Gil Sarno, Carlota Gil Sarno, Guadalupe Zamora Sarno and Josefina Garcia. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Legacy Chapels (4610 S Jackson Rd, Edinburg, TX 78539). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:30 PM at the same location.
