She was predeceased by: her parents, George Clifton Powers and Mary Ursula Gerdes Powers; her husband Melvin Holley; and her siblings, Helen Powers Pesek Ramsey, Noah Lee Powers and Clifford Powers.
She is survived by: her daughter Vanessa Holley Harrah; her son-in-law Max Harrah of Edna; her grandson Jed Harrah of Edna; her brother Carl "Corky" Powers of Edna; and her siblings-in-law, Jeanette Powers of Austin, Henry Holley (Linda) of Snyder and Estella Everett of Throckmorton. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and close friends.
In lieu of flowers or plants, donations may be made to the Hospice of South Texas Dornburg Center or to the Daughters of the Republic of Texas, Texana Chapter, Scholarship Fund.
