She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Wilkerson and Lucille Wilkerson; her siblings, Clifford (LaNoe), Donald Lynn Wilkerson, Nelda Faye Chapman and Catherine Campbell (Gene); and her brothers-in-law, Richard Ellison and James "Jimmy" Nelson.
She is survived by: her husband Charles "Chuck" Nelson; her sons, Dustin Nelson (Kelly) and Shaun Nelson; her grandson Aiden Nelson; her sisters, LaVerne Ellison and Ann Hessong (Henry Peña); and her siblings-in-law, Linda Wilkerson, Vernon Chapman, Jo Anne Hughes (Harry) and Ted Nelson (Georgie). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 22nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Slavik Funeral Home (209 N Allen St, Edna, TX 77957).
