He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramon Resendez Serna, Sr. and Elizabeth Rodriguez Serna; his wife Lidia Gonzalez Serna; and his siblings, Olga Serna Hernandez and Humberto Serna.
He is survived by: his children, Oscar Anthony Serna, Jr. (Gloria Serna), Davina Rose Serna and Mia Alexandra Serna; his grandchildren, Liliana Serna, Jonah Serna, Noah Susil and Jael Susil; and his siblings, Hortencia Rozales, Ramon Serna Jr. and Gerardo Serna. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
