We are sad to announce that on July 2, 2022, at the age of 94, Paula R. Cortez of Edna, Texas, born in Madisonville, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Tomas Cortes, Sr. and Paula Renteria Cortes; and her siblings, Volan, Aniesta, Provedencia, Trinidad, Tomas, Jr., Micaela and Ramona.

She is survived by : her children, Frank Cortez, Sr. (Ninfa) of Edna, Texas and Olivia Cortez of Lawrenceville, Georgia; her grandchildren, Beatrice Cruz (Juan), Gabriella Cortez, Minerva Cortez Gomez (Gregory), Frank Cortez, Jr. and Paul Adrian Cortez; and her great grandchildren, Miguel Cruz, Jacqueline Cruz, Brandon Cruz, Josue Guillermo Cortez, Lorenzo Axton Gomez and Nova Yazmin Cortez.
