We are sad to announce that, on December 28, 2025, at the age of 93, Charles Sumner Harris of El Campo, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Charles shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Charles farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Buel Joe Harris and Lena Jacobs Harris; his wife Genoveva "Beva" Harris; and his siblings, James Harris, Naoma King and Yvonne Newman.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Steven Harris (Linda) of El Campo, Mary Jane Perez of El Campo and Pamela Balderas of El Campo; and his sister Nancy Mozicek of El Campo. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
