She was predeceased by: her father Louis Gajdos; her sister Diane "Dinki" Gajdos; her grandparents, Chester, Hilagarde Jensen, Louis F. and Marie Gajdos; and her uncle Neil Jensen.

She is survived by: her husband Wade Cornelson; her son Dalton Cornelson of El Campo; her siblings, Carol Lindquest of Orange Grove, Mike Helmcamp (Wanda) of Ganado and Eric Lipinski (Jackie) of Houston; her mother Janice Lipinski (Walter) of El Campo; her stepmother Sylvia Gajdos; and her aunts, Diane West of Houston and Barbara Jensen of El Campo. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
