He was predeceased by: his parents, George Molina Sr. and Ursula Gonzales Molina; and his siblings, Beatrice Ortiz, Anita Trevino, Stevie Molina, George Molina and Alex Molina.

He is survived by: his wife Eva Rivera Molina; his children, Joe Molina Jr. (Becky), Jerry Molina and James Molina; his grandchildren, Joseph A. Molina (Brittany Jones), Megan B. Morgan (Bryce), Courtney Molina, Katie Molina and James Molina Jr.; his siblings, Robert Molina, Julia Deases and Johnny Molina Sr.; his nieces, Amanda Cordova and Jennifer Struve; and his nephew Johnny Molina Jr.. He is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 8:30 AM at the St. Robert's Catholic Church (512 Tegner St, El Campo, TX 77437). A rosary was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 9:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
