She was predeceased by : her parents, Emil Herrmann and Annie Belle Herrmann (Engbrock); and her siblings, Shirley Von Platen Luder and Richard Carl Herrmann. She is survived by : her children, Marcie VanderBoom of Rocklin, CA and Gary; her daughter-in-law Wendy Schmidt of Newport Beach, CA; her grandchildren, Gant VanderBoom (Ashley) of Meridian, ID, Garrett VanderBoom (Alyssa), Gavin Schmidt of Newport Beach, CA, Cologne Trude (Sam) and Cannon Schmidt of Del Rey, CA.; her great grandchildren, Carter, Finley, Navy, Ford VanderBoom, Range Trude and Dylan VanderBoom; and her husband Gilbert Theodore Schmidt.
