With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Michael Kubena of El Campo, Texas, who passed away on January 12, 2023 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Kubena and Theresa Kubena; his sister Mary Carmelita; his nephews, Joshua and Chad Kubena; and his aunts and uncles, Mary Kubacak, Angela Martinka, Margaret Kohoutek, Sister Angela Martinka, Sister Mary Ann Martinka, Martha Grafe, Janie Orsak, Bessie Smith, Viola Kubena, Frank, Cyril, Wenc, Alphonse, Joe Martinka, Edwin, Henry, Hubert, Sylvester, Paul, Jerry and Robert Kubena.
He is survived by: his son James Lee Kubena (Erin) of Magnolia; his grandchildren, James Harrison Kubena (Lilly) of Whidbey Island and Lauren EmmaLee Kubena of Magnolia; his siblings, Anna Hubenak (Leonard) of El Campo, Daniel Kubena of El Campo, Gerard Kubena (Louise) of El Campo and Martin Kubena of El Campo; and his nieces and nephews, Tracy Phelan (Ryan), Christine Patlovany, Amanda Kubena, Sarah Fore, Brandy Kubena, Meghan Rush (Matt), Katie Loos, Brian Hubenak (Sarah), Chris Williams (Amy) and Cody Loos (Kaitlyn). He is also survived by three grand-nieces; seven grand-nephews; and a great-grand-niece.
