It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Norbert John Eggemeyer of El Campo, Texas, who passed away on April 24, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbard Eggemeyer and Vera Shimek Eggemeyer; his brothers, Gene Eggemeyer and Freddy Eggemeyer; and his brothers-in-law, Bill Hubenak, Frank Popp and Francis Stock (Bitty).
He is survived by: his wife Edith Sablatura Eggemeyer (Edie); his children, Greg Eggemeyer (Robin Sless), Fae Popp (Gregory) and Curtis Eggemeyer; his grandchildren, Jessica Drapela (Nathan), Blake Eggemeyer (Eve), Cassidy Bird (Chris), Robin Eggemeyer and Morgan Baca (Brandon); his great grandchildren, Paislyn, Breckyn, Knox, Anisyn Drapela, Brax Eggemeyer and Finn Bird; his siblings, Butch Eggemeyer (Sharon), Victor Eggemeyer (Mable) and Jeanette Schneider (Glenn); and his sisters-in-law, Paige Eggemeyer, Alene Hubenak, Marilyn Popp and Jeanette Stock.
Memorial donations in memory of Norbert may be made to St. Andrew Catholic Church, American Legion, or St. Philip Catholic School.
