It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samuel Gonzalez Sr. of El Campo, Texas, born in Robstown, Texas, who passed away on March 16, 2024, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Julio Gonzalez and Felicita Diaz Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Julia Sosa Gonzalez of El Campo; his brother Julio Flores of Dallas; and his children, Vicky Aguilar (Martin) of El Campo, Terri Villarreal (Jake Hernandez) of Houston, Samuel Gonzalez Jr. (Diana) of El Campo, Joey Villarreal (Elizabeth Acuna) of El Campo, Pete Villarreal (Irene) of El Campo and Samantha Gonzalez (Aaron Misner) of El Campo. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
