He was predeceased by: his in-laws, Pete and Martha Leopold; his brothers-in-law, Tom Burt and Frankie Laitkep; and his nephew Kevin Harnett (Deric Tarver).
He is survived by: his uncles, Bar-B-Q and Vern; his wife Julia Evanicky of Andrew's Catholic Church; his sons, Eric Evanicky of El Campo and Timothy Evanicky (Veronica) of Rosenberg; his grandchildren, Joshua, Jordyn, Mackenzie, Arrie, Alexa and Dakota Evanicky; his mother Edith Evanicky; his siblings, Lonnie Evanicky (Susan), Glen Evanicky (Christine), Clarice Kutach (Tony) and Debbie Alexander (Stephen); and his siblings-in-law, Leonard Leopold (Pat), Robert Leopold (Cathy), Alfred Leopold, Josephine Svatek (Billy), Gertrude Laitkep, Loretta Steffek (David) and Fredia (Donald).
