He is survived by: his wife Maurene Mosley Painter; his siblings, Jim Painter and Charlotte Bell; his children, Karla (Bob Burns), Janis (Adrian Heston), Susan (Mark Briggs), Alan (Isabelle Body), Eric (Amy Lancaster) and Jeff; his grandchildren, Sarah Burns, Hannah Burns, Adam Burns, Andrew Heston, Nicholas Heston, Kevin Heston, Clay Briggs, Clement Painter, Julie Painter, Thomas Painter, Timothy Painter and William Painter; his stepgrandchildren, Randy Ferguson and Adrian IV Heston; his stepgreat-grandchild Quin Heston; and his caregivers, Olga, Perla, Jocelyn, Mikee and Savannah.
