He was predeceased by: his parents, Miguel G. SIlvas and Maria Garcia; and his brother Antonio Silvas. He is survived by: his wife Elva Arriola Silvas; his children, Jeremiah Silvas, Samuel Alvarado, Gary Arriola, Angel Almanzar and Stephanie Silvas Rivas; his siblings, Miguel Silvas, Tomas G. Silvas, Jesus Miguel Silvas, Rosa Maria SIlvas, Irene Silvas and Monica Silvas; his grandchildren, Natalie Rivas, Mya Rivas, Jacob M. Rivas, Chantel Arriola, Gary Arriola Jr., Zachary Arriola, Sammy Alvarado Jr., Abraham Alvarado, Andrew Alvarado, Angel Alamanzar Jr. and Mia Almanzar; and his great grandchildren, Catherine Adeline Reyes, Scarlett Remy Hernandez, Liam Aden Gameros, Avery Alvarado and Misa Rose Alvarado.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home- Americas (9521 N Loop Dr, El Paso, TX 79907). A prayer will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
