She is survived by: her husband Oscar T. Chavez; her children, Bertha Araceli Carzoli-Chavez, Oscar Manuel Chavez, Cesar Adrian Chavez, Mario Chavez and Christian O. Chavez; and her siblings, Manuel Lopez, Arturo Lopez, Jorge Lopez, Jesus Lopez, Leticia Garcia and Olga Laneave. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren.
