She was predeceased by: her parents, Jose Garcia and Refugio Mendez; her uncle Ruben Arredondo; and her brothers, Carlos, Victor Garcia and Armando Arredondo Sr..
She is survived by: her goddaughter Roseann Barela (Jimmy); her nephew Armando Arredondo Jr. Anthony Arredondo (Susie); and her sister-in-law Rosemary Arredondo. She is also survived by 4 great nieces and 5 great nephews and several great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Funeraria Del Angel Central (3839 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79903). A rosary was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the All Saints Catholic Church (1415 Dakota St, El Paso, TX 79930). A committal service was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the Evergreen East Cemetery (12400 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79938).
