He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Ann Vernon and Kathryn Gardner; his son-in-law Richard Gardner; his grandsons, Travis and Michael (Ashley); his great grandchildren, Brooke and Bailey; his grandson Charles Gardner (Laiza); and his great grandchildren, Charles Richard Gardner, Jr. and Kathryn Teresa Gardner.
