He was predeceased by: his parents, Rachel Jensen (Messervy) and Lewis Jensen; and his stepfather John Skokowski. He is survived by: his wife Rita Jensen (Payne); his children, Amy Crumpacker (Christian), Mark Jensen, Paul Jensen (Sara) and Suzanne Benson (Peter); his grandchildren, Zachary Crumpacker, Ethan Crumpacker, Jensen Crumpacker, Jacob Jensen, Abigail Jensen, Bailey Jensen, Morgan Jensen-Upshaw, Connor Jensen, Riley Jensen, Hannah Stephensen, Rowan Stephensen and Klaus Stephensen; and his siblings, Elizabeth McGrane (Jensen), Michelle Stanulonis (Jensen), John Skokowski, Paul Skokowski and Ann James (Skokowski).
A Mass will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Saint Francis de Sales Church (900 Ida St, Lansing, KS 66043). A burial will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 at 12:30 PM at the Leavenworth National Cemetery (150 Muncie Rd, Leavenworth, KS 66048).
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Chris's name to Doctors Without Borders or The Saint Francis DeSales Capital Fund.
