He was predeceased by: his sons, David Galyon and James Galyon. He is survived by: his wife Jeanne; his children, Ruth Riley (Robert), Scott Syner (Nancy) and Richard Syner (Sandy); his daughter-in-law Vicki Galyon; his sister Mary Syner Harry; and his sister-in-law Brenda Hollamon Knotek. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
