David leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. David’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. He was predeceased by: his parents, Rhuben W Minton and Irene E Koonce-Minton. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca; and his children, John, Aaron Minton and Sherry Tennison. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

He was also an avid quiltmaker, donating quilts to the Wounded Warrior Project; often completing as many as 20 quilts per year.
