He is survived by: his wife Rachel Onopa; his daughter Bethany Onopa-Hernandez (Nicolas Isaac Hernandez); and his siblings, Lori Torres and Gary Onopa. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - West (480 Resler Dr, El Paso, TX 79912). A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the First Baptist Church (805 Montana Ave, El Paso, TX 79902). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 29th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery (401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907, USA).
