He was predeceased by: his parents, Sylvia Shapiro and Ira Shapiro of New York; and his brother George Shapiro. He is survived by: his wife Bobbi Shapiro; his children, Steve Shapiro, Randy Shapiro (Virginia Windle Shapiro) and Lori Shapiro of El Paso, Texas.; his grandchildren, Melanie Shapiro Godin (Ryan Godin), Rebecca Shapiro Rettke (Andrew Rettke), Stephanie Shapiro (George Rodriguez), Windle Shapiro and Carson Shapiro; and his great grandchild Hunter James Godin.
