He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose McDonald and Angela McDonald; and his siblings, Dr. Carlos McDonald, Jose McDonald II and Lucy Hildebrandt.
He is survived by: his wife Libby; his children, Edward McDonald II, Kathy Stokes and Paul McDonald; and his siblings, James McDonald, Micaela Ortega and Frank McDonald. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
