He was predeceased by: his parents, Bricio Gonzalez and Gloria Gonzalez. He is survived by: his wife Maria Luisa Gonzalez; his sons, Eduardo Solis Gonzalez, Jesus Solis Gonzalez, Efren Gonzalez, Jr. and Juventino Solis Gonzalez; and his sisters, Maria Del Carmen Drury and Josie Alcala. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren.
