She was predeceased by: her parents, Gerhard Glauch and Maria Glauch; her husband Edwin Brinkley; and her sister Gisela. She is survived by: her children, Angela Brinkley, Barbara Brinkley Lopez (Adan) and Col. Edwin T. Brinkley (Julie); her sisters, Susi Mashrafi (Mohammed), Gerda Einsiedler (Dieter) and Gaby Eberle (Horst); and her grandchildren, Kenneth King, Dominic King, Rachel Robins, Reilly Robins, Edwin Brinkley, Bill Brinkley and Thomas Brinkley.
Throughout her life, Elisabeth believed in the importance of charity, and she generously gave her time, energy, and money to multiple Catholic humanitarian organizations.
