With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elvira Aguilar Reyes of El Paso, Texas, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 22, 2026 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Aguilar and Rosa Aguilar; and her siblings, Albertina Chavez (Berta), Simona Aguilar, Maria Elena Ortiz (Elena), Rafael Aguilar, Jesus Aguilar and Santiago Aguilar.
She is survived by: her husband Agustin Reyes; her children, Augustine Reyes (Deborah), Dora Lujan (Israel), Carlos Reyes, Guadalupe Ramirez (Robert), Rosa Reyes (Brittanie), Elizabeth Jones (Fletcher), Jesse Reyes, Nelly Gutierrez (Angel) and Jennifer Badley (Fernando); her brother Juan Aguilar; and her nieces and nephews, Chavez and Ortiz. She is also survived by 26 loving grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.
