It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Emila M. Barajas of El Paso, Texas, who passed away on January 15, 2026, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidronio and Antonia (Ruben); and her grandson Ramon. She is survived by: her sister Olivia; her sons, Ruben (Martha), Ronnie (Mary) and Ricardo (Lupe); her grandchildren, Melissa (Richard), Ruben (Jackie), Lisa (Kevin), Ronnie Jr. (Patricia), Ricky Jr., Andy and Lupita; and her great grandchildren, Jacob, Kyan, Kensley, Karsyn, Micah, Alazar and Selena.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Perches Funeral Home-Alameda (7580 Alameda Ave, El Paso, TX 79915). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Santo Nino de Atocha Catholic Church (210 S Clark Dr, El Paso, TX 79905). A graveside service was held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Cemetery (401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907).
