Avelar; and his siblings, Alicia Martinez Dominguez (Jose Angel Dominguez), Mike Martinez (Jesus Gabriela Martinez), Ruben Martinez (Blanca Sepulveda Martinez), Edward Joe Martinez, Manuel Martinez (Michelle Martinez) and Paul Anthony Avelar. He is also survived by six grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
