George C. Weickum Obituary
We announce the death of George C. Weickum in El Paso, Texas, who passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 69. He was predeceased by: his father Ralph Weickum. He is survived by: his mother Bernice Weickum; his wife Sherrie; his children, Nikki and Harm (Alexandra); his grandchildren, Maresa and Lennox; his siblings, Kaylin (Mike), Gus (Karolee) and West (DeAnn); Christina (Scott), Tracy (Shanna), Morris (Denae) and Daryl. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, or if you want to honor his memory, the family recommends donations to the El Paso VA Medical Center, who greatly helped George and the family navigate his illness, the Fisher House at William Beaumont Medical Center so other families will be able to receive the same dedicated and compassionate care he did at Oncology, or to Glacier National Park, one of his favorite sites for beautiful but harrowing wilderness adventures (harrowing optional).
