Gil Garza Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 7, 2025, at the age of 73, Gil Garza (El Paso, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Raul Garza and Petra Garza; and his sister Norma Garza. He is survived by: his significant other Sylvia; his children, Franchesca, Tom Fraire, Garrett, Alba Garza, Brianna and Brian Gomez; his grandchildren, Thomas, Charlene, Mary Faith, Jonah, Lila, Gwendolyn and Brayden; and his siblings, Mary Felix, Raul, Sandra Garza, Oscar Garza, Rick and Poula Garza.
Those who knew Gil will miss him for his kindness, quick wit, love of life, and generous contributions to the El Paso community. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Parkinson's Foundation (https://www.parkinson.org) in his memory.
