We are sad to announce that on January 23, 2023, at the age of 72, Herbert Charles Abney (El Paso, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his fathers, Homer Abney and Willis Abney; his siblings, Frankie Abney, Buddy Abney, Bill Abney, Corrine Shores and Doris Strotman; his son Shjan Dale Abney; and his grandson Shjan Nicholas Abney.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Shain (Nichole Abney); his wife Margaret Nowell; his grandchildren, Josh Abney (Valerie Garcia), Kristofer Abney, Zira Diaz, Danielle, Ashely Huebner and Cerah Abney; his great grandchildren, Roman Jimenez and Koah Abney; and his siblings, Faye Ramsey, Mary Myers, Patsy Wean, Jr., Lillie Mae Brooks, Homer Abney and Ricky Abney. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
