“I met Herman at La Tuna Federal Prison Camp in 2020. He was a very active and helpful inmate that kept busy all day long. He really went out of his way to keep peace at the camp. I know he was down for many years and was being processed for Compassionate Release due to COVID. He was so sure that he was going home that he quit his assigned prison job. I know that he had several ailments and was looking forward to going home to his sister. So sad to know that he didn’t make it. Rest in peace…”

“I knew herman while I was in prison with him. He was an outspoken good guy that was always fair with me and ALWAYS looked out for his friends and others, a very giving man and cantankerous in a likeable way. We were all very sad and angry to hear he had died. He was unfairly neglected in his numerous ignored requests for medical treatment while he was in. May he rest in peace.”
