We bid farewell to Jack H. Kotter of El Paso, Texas, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on June 15, 2025 at the age of 85. Jack touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Glen Kotter and Alice Kotter of Metropolis, Illinois.; and his wife Carol Ann. He is survived by: his sons, Jim Kotter (Anita) of El Paso and David Kotter (Rachel) of Lakewood, CO; his grandchildren, Joshua (Jenae), Caleb (Lily), Lydia Weinhold (Ben), John, Rebekah and James; and his great grandchildren, Andrew and Jane.
His personal decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star, five Meritorious Service Medals, two Army Commendation Medals, and the De Fleury medal, which is awarded to those individuals who have provided significant contributions to Army Engineering.
