She was predeceased by: her parents, Enrique McClure and Eluteria Galvan McClure; and her husband Santos T. Chavez. She is survived by: her children, Lilly, Lori Ann Chavez, Santos and Gary Chavez; her daughter-in-law Susie Chavez; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Montelongo and Kyrie Brito; and her great grandchildren, Bryanda, Jocelyn Montelongo, Emilio Ontiveros and James Brito. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 28th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at 10:00 AM. A graveside service was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Union Cemetery (240 Telles St, Anthony, NM 88021). A rosary was held on Thursday, January 29th 2026 at 7:00 PM.
