He is survived by: his wife Maria Consuelo Miranda; his daughters, Emily Miranda, Melissa Miranda and Marcela Ortiz (Luis); his sisters, Balentina Miranda and Basillisa Morales Delgado; and his grandchildren, Ethan Miranda, Michael Miranda, Lorenzo Miranda, Luis R. Ortiz, Dominic S. Ortiz and Yvette A. Ortiz. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - West (480 Resler Dr, El Paso, TX 79912). A prayer was held on Thursday, December 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, December 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
