She was predeceased by: her parents, Amada Acosta and Jose P. Acosta; her son Carlos Diaz Jr.; her grandson Carlos Maldonado; and her son-in-law Crispin Maldonado.
She is survived by: her children, Amada Maldonado, Mary Diaz and Tony Diaz; and her daughters-in-law, Isela Diaz, Alicia Porras and Trinidad Porras. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.
