He was predeceased by: his wife Evangelina; and his brother Lorenzo Balbuena (Cindy). He is survived by: his children, Lorenzo (Maria) and Sylvia (Ernesto); his siblings, Luis Balbuena (Bertha), Francisco Simental and Mary Smith; his grandchildren, Marcos (Sulema), Lorenzo II (Jeanette) and Erica (Isaac); and his great grandchildren, Brianna, Adam, Anthony, Adriana, Aliyah, Nathan and Emery.
