He is survived by: his children, Pura Chittick (Mike), Maria Viera-Williams (Jim), Martin Viera (Vicky), Jorge Viera (Trish) and Robert Viera (Yvonne); and his grandchildren, Joseph DeLa Cerda, Jorge Viera Jr., Christopher Viera, Christina Sanchez-Pauter (Eddie), Matthew Viera, Adrian Viera (Jackie) and Mitchell Viera. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sunset Funeral Homes-Northeast (4631 Hondo Pass Dr, El Paso, TX 79924). A rosary was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A prayer was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast (4631 Hondo Pass Dr, El Paso, TX 79924). A committal service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
