Melissa leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Melissa’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Melissa will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Nightingale and Hazel Nightingale (Maher). She is survived by: her son Jason Cooper (Jessica) of Marlborough, CT; her sister Melinda Lambeth; and her grandchildren, Cameron, Calvin and Cady.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Spencer Funeral Home (112 Main St, East Hampton, CT 06424).
