He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Edward Schmidt and Viola Gertrude Stanley Schmidt. He is survived by: his significant other Kay Annette Brooke; his brother Edward Benjamin Schmidt; his daughters, Natalie Torres Chicago (Frederick), Iinois and Lindsay Lane (Brandon); his grandson Anthony Schmidt (Brighton); his great grandchildren, Sophia Alejandra Schmidt, Jeremiah, Kai Collins and LeLu Schmidt; and his pet Abbey.
