He was predeceased by: his parents, Francisco Vasquez and Juana Vasquez; and his wife Aurora Gutierrez Vasquez. He is survived by: his children, Gloria Isela Rios, Bertha Anne Vasquez, Thelma Loza and Miguel Vasquez Jr.. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
