She was predeceased by: her parents, Melecio Rodriguez and Otila Rodriguez; and her husband Ruben G. Valenzuela. She is survived by: her children, Ruben Valenzuela, David Valenzuela and Raquel Jasso; her grandchildren, Brandon, David Jr., Anthony Jr., Hollie, Megan and Allie; and her children-in-law, Anthony Jasso Sr. and Shannon Valenzuela.
