It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ramon Gomez of El Paso, Texas, who passed away on October 8, 2025, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Ramon departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Ramon may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Ramon leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his son Ramon Gomez Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Delia Gomez; and his children, Ray A. Gomez (Michelle Gomez), Daniel R. Gomez (Naomi Gomez), Dora Concha (Antonio Concha) and Christina Rivera. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the San Jose Funeral Home East (10950 Pellicano Dr, El Paso, TX 79935). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery (401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907).
