He is survived by: his children, Estevan Ortega (Andrea Ortega), Adan Ortega (Elvia Ortega), Reymundo, Jr., Fernie Ortega (Vanessa Ortega), Maria Reyna Ortega (Jose Diaz), Veronica Ortega (Chris Perez) and Lidia Ortega; and his grandchildren, Stevie Ortega, Alyssa Ortega, Jennifer Ortega, Priscilla Ortega, Karina Sustaita (Brandon Sustaita), Adan Ortega, Jr., Angel Ortega, Matthew Ortega (Sirena Ortega), Brianna Ortega, Kristian Ortega, Michael Ortega, Eden Rocha, Belen Rocha, Helen Rocha, Darian Mares, Santino Chavez, Hipolito Chavez, Jr., Vincent Ortega and Mia Ortega.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Hillcrest Funeral Home (1060 N Carolina Dr, El Paso, TX 79915). A prayer will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Fort Bliss National Cemetery (5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906).
