He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Guerena and Cecilia Guerena; and his brother Francisco Guerena. He is survived by: his sister Cecilia (Tony); his nephew Thomas; his sister-in-law Dianne; and his nieces, Gabriella and Cristina.
Visitation was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Homes - Northeast (4631 Hondo Pass Dr, El Paso, TX 79904). A rosary was held on Monday, August 31st 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A Mass was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church (10000 Pheasant Rd, El Paso, TX 79924). A committal service was held on Tuesday, September 1st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery (4848 Alps Dr, El Paso, TX 79904).
