He was predeceased by: his wife Erna Smith; his parents, Irene Mae Smith and Roy Clark Smith; and his brothers, Bill, Donald and Larry Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jim, Doug Smith and Phyllis Knarr; his sons, Ronald Lee Smith and Peter Ray Smith; and his daughter-in-law Amelia Santiago-Smith. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
